When creating a relationship to a record, either through creating, cloning, or editing a record or through an action button, the Related Records Picker presents with all of the possible records from that table.
For example, when editing a grouping record to relate a shot, choosing the + next to Related Shots will open the Related Shots Picker.
For example, when choosing multiple shots from the Shots table to assign to a Shot List, selecting the "Assign to Shot List" action button, and then selecting the empty Related Shot List field, will open the Related Shot Lists Picker.
1. If the desired related table includes more than 20 records, only the first 20 values will show.
2. To locate the record(s), begin typing the first 3 consecutive characters in the search to initiate the filtering.
3. If more than 20 records meet the criteria, continue to input additional characters to refine the results until the record is identified.
4. Select the record to highlight it. As soon as the record is highlighted, it is also added under the Related XXX column.
5. If additional records are to be related, clear the search value and begin again until all desired records have been selected.
