Cornucopia Release (deployed 11/15/2021)

Modified on Mon, 24 Jan, 2022 at 10:54 AM

What’s New?

  • Error messages are logged and can be viewed by the user. Previously, error messages would display briefly and then disappear, and there was no way for the user to review them. Error logging has been added to this release, and the log of errors can be accessed through a red { ! } icon that will appear in the top left menu bar next to the ShotFlow logo. A user can access the error log by selecting the icon, and then select [Clear] to empty the error log, which removes the icon until another error is logged.
  • Added confirmation of impacted record count when changing multiple choice field options. When a user updates the options in a multiple choice field, if the changes impact existing records (e.g. wiping existing values that are no longer valid), the system presents a confirmation prompt of the impacted record count to confirm that the user understands the impact of the change, offering the user options to [Confirm] or [Cancel].

What Did We Change?

  • "All Fields" search is now called "Any Field." The previous "All Fields" search implied that the search would check all fields, regardless of whether those fields are present in the current View. The query has always checked ONLY the fields visible in the View. So this functionality hasn't changed at all, but we have changed the term to "Any Field" which is more accurate to how the query has always worked.
  • Retention of user data if a user is removed from an app. Previously, removal of a user's access to an app also removed their information from logged fields and other history data, such as Created By and Modified By system fields (resulting in blank values where that user name used to be). Now that data is retained even after the user is removed.
  • Optimize user fields when retrieving records. The data structure related to users has been updated and optimized for better performance when user data is part of a query. This impacts an array of queries including Table Views that include user fields (Created By, Modified By), as well as action and field revisions, automations, calendars and events, and ingest logs.
  • Existing user information no longer visible when adding a new user. System does not show existing values when adding a user to prevent visibility to email addresses.

What Did We Fix?

  • Searches utilizing certain special characters now return correct results. When performing a “Contains” or “Does not contain” search/filter which includes a “_” (underscore) and/or “%” (percent) the value was being omitted - this has been resolved.
  • Related table fields not visible in search when using nested navigation.
  • Functions related to date/time not returning/filtering correctly.
  • Added support for Etc/GMT-8 timezone.
