What Did We Change?
- Updating a record with a blank field no longer populates with default value. Fields that have a default value in their settings but this particular record does not have a value (field is blank) no longer inherit the default value when the record is edited, only when it is created.
- Removed “Manage View Items” permission. This permission was made redundant with the SuperViews release, and has the same function as "Update View," so has now been removed.
What Did We Fix?
- Relationship records of over 5000 could be reduced to 5000 via a related record edit. A failsafe to prevent editing related records when at least one relationship had more than 5000 related records was eliminated in error in the prior release. This enabled a user to attempt to edit relationships with more than 5000 records, which would eliminate all relationships over 5000. The failsafe is now restored to its previous functionality.
- Editing a view does not take effect before refresh. This has been fixed.
- Deletion option was not working for a newly created view unless the web page was refreshed. This has been fixed.
- View summary fields are offset one column to the right in a report. Only impacted summary fields and only in reports, but the summary would be in the wrong column.
- Sorting Data Ingest configurations was not functioning for all column headers and would break the UI (require browser refresh). The Data Ingest Configurations column headers support sorting by selecting the header (similar to Views), but this was not working for all columns and would cause a UI issue when attempted.
- Data Ingest summary not loading when no mappings present. Fixed!
- Data Ingest summary incorrectly flagging missing fields in data feed mappings. Fixed!
- Data ingest not properly evaluating false boolean value. When evaluating a text string to set a negative (false) boolean field, Data Ingest would warn with "cannot be converted to a boolean value and will be omitted." This has been fixed.
- Editing a record switched the left pane navigation from “Views” to “Tables.” This only occurred for users with Tables permissions and did not interfere with functionality, but is now corrected.
- Unreadable text in advanced search when in dark mode. When showing view filter information on an Advanced Search dialog, the light gray text was too close to the white background and did not provide sufficient contrast for readability.
- Unable to update Capture Module View under certain circumstances. This likely did not impact any client users, as it is only related to Capture Module Views which configure ShotFlow Capture configurations, and is now fixed.
