- Integrated Smarter Approval. We've brought the asset review and approval experience into the ShotFlow platform. This means we're able to leverage all your data in ShotFlow to create stages to review, approve or reject, markup and annotate your assets for seamless post-production workflows for all your cross-functional teams .
- Start your Asset Review from any eligible Shot or Asset table with a new Review Action button (which you can name).
- Determine which Reviews require decisions and define what each decision represents
- Allow users to review Assets to only add markup and annotations or take no action at all.
- Choose markup color and size to differentiate the markups between users.
- Reply to annotation comments to clarify or respond to callouts or delete comments if there as a mistake.
- Review prior versions of the same asset.
- Compare the current version of an asset with a prior revision seamlessly.
- Review XMP metadata configured to be displayed in the Review up on click of info bubble.
- Enable versions of assets to be locked once new versions are received (i.e. after retouched) so that no markup, comments or decisions can be made on the older assets.

- More Robust Smarter Assets. We've redesigned our asset automation to make it much more powerful and performant to meet the needs of your asset automation needs.
- Generates preview files to act as binaries representing the original asset in the workflow until submission to retouching vendors or final asset delivery.
- Embed XMP data through the automation process to ensure data is always accurate.
The combination of our new Smarter Assets and Smarter Approval lets user-decisions drive the asset flows and reviews to ensure asset quality at scale.
What Did We Fix?
- Scroll Bar. The thumbnail of your selected asset will remain in view regardless of it's placement in the review to make it easier to review larger amounts of assets.
- Comments. We've added cleansing to ensure security of what can be added as comments (i.e. no malicious code!).
