Access to a ShotFlow “2.0” platform studio app
NOTE: If you are upgrading from ShotFlow capture 2.0.x, please be aware that there are significant technical changes to ShotFlow capture to support the new ShotFlow “2.0” platform, and this release is NOT backward compatible with ShotFlow “1.0” (QuickBase).

- Extract the files from the ZIP archive
- Drag any older ShotFlow capture releases to the trash
- Launch ShotFlow capture 2.1.5 and log in
What’s New?
- Automated completion of new Day Shot field. For ShotFlow brand apps that have a Day Shot field present on the Shots table and added to Capture Module Views, the current Date will be auto-completed when the Shot is marked Complete in SF capture. This new Day Shot field, which is "date only," complements the existing Date Shot field that records both date and time. Since many clients need to run reports that are based on dates without a time component, this field was added to make various dynamic related record functions, reports and charts easier to configure. For clients who want this field added to their brand app, please submit a ticket to support@shotflow.com
What Did We Fix?
- This release addressed several issues with the new warning messages introduced in Capture 2.1.4 that were causing unexpected dialogs to display during certain capture workflows:
- Unexpected pop-up warnings when shooting tethered to Capture One and packing as EIP. Release 2.1.4 was not playing nicely with the "Pack as EIP when capturing" preference, generating pop-up warnings that needed to be cleared after each capture.
- Unexpected pop-up warnings when shooting tethered to Capture One with a Phase One digital back. Release 2.1.4 was not playing nicely with the .IIQ workflow, generating pop-up warnings that needed to be cleared after each capture.
- Unexpected "No file found" pop-up warnings when utilizing EIP files with Drag and Drop. Release 2.1.4 was not playing nicely when utilizing Drag and Drop with .EIP files, generating pop-up warnings that needed to be cleared after each capture.
- Unexpected pop-up warnings when renaming files post-capture. Release 2.1.4 was throwing some "phantom" pop-ups in some cases, fixed now.
- Failed outcome with "Couldn't copy file" message in certain scenarios on a second Drag and Drop action using the same file name. Release 2.1.4 introduced a new Drag and Drop bug that would cause the Drag and Drop action to fail in some circumstances and display this message, now resolved.
- Improved handling of Date and Time fields in XMP. Date and Time fields are now editable in Detail View and correctly displaying in XMP.
Known Issues (Carried over from prior releases)
When adding multiple products or scanning multiple barcodes, if any are "invalid" (not located in the Samples table of the related brand app), there is no confirmation of those invalid products.
Nested child Shots are not sorting as expected (ignoring the sort parameter).
Future Enhancements
Developing a new UI for “product centric” capture workflows, to supplement the current “shot centric” List View
