What’s New?
- Automated nightly optimization of active apps. This process should improve performance of apps in high production use by optimizing the app each night, instead of requiring manual optimization by ShotFlow Admins. Often apps were not being optimized for many days at a time due to the need for manual initiation (which was typically done in response to slow performance reports by users). More frequent optimization means better performance, so if your app(s) seem peppier, this is the reason!
What Did We Change?
- Fields available in dynamic fields are now restricted to the same application. This includes relationships available to “Related Dynamic Fields”. This change only impacts clients with Dynamic Related Record fields between Shot Lists & Studio Sets, Brand Shipments & Studio Shoots, etc. Clients with these fields in their current production apps have already been notified that these fields will be removed.
- Related fields can now be specified when querying table records through the API.
What Did We Fix?
- Action buttons not always displayed directly below views resulting in the user having to scroll. Action buttons now stay close to the view, rather than wandering south to parts unknown
- Chart category was showing related dynamic fields. When creating or update a chart, dynamic fields from a related table are no longer shown, only dynamic fields for the selected chart table.
- Manual data ingests do not always respect the user’s time zone. Time is complicated, time zones are just murder. This particular issue is fixed, though, so good on us.
