Interacting with Goals (Set Statistics) in ShotFlow Capture

Modified on Fri, 12 Aug, 2022 at 11:19 AM

ShotFlow capture 2.2.8 and later includes a Set Statistics panel. This panel enables multiple goal types to be set for each Shot List (Time/Shots/Products/Groupings/Samples), and you can choose to use any or all of them on each Shot List template (e.g. On-Figure template has one set of goals, Flats template has another set of goals). ShotFlow Capture dynamically calculates the progress based on all active Shot List(s) on the current Set. If work is shifted during a session by adding or removing Shot Lists from a Set, the goals for that Set will shift dynamically to match the currently assigned work.

By default, when a user logs into ShotFlow capture, the Set Statistics panel will automatically display. If you do not want it to automatically display, uncheck the option for "Open Automatically." This will prevent the panel from automatically displaying for that particular user only. If other users log into ShotFlow capture from the same station, the Set Statistics panel will still automatically display unless they also uncheck the "Open Automatically" box.

You can toggle visibility to the Set Statistics panel at any time, by choosing the Goals Icon.

Goal Deadlines across all Shot Lists on a Set

If only one Goal (Deadline) value is present across all active Shot Lists, Capture will display the value in the Set Statistics panel Deadline Goal box, displaying the contents of the field in the same way the field is formatted on platform, e.g. MM/DD/YYYY hh:mm (or however the field display config is set). If no value is present in the field for any active Shot List, Capture will display “No Goal.”

If more than one Goal (Deadline) value is present across all active Shot Lists, Capture will display the earliest value (closest deadline) in the Set Statistics panel Deadline Goal box as well as a “Shot List:” label followed by the Shot List Name below the “Remaining” label.

Beneath the displayed value, Capture will display a “Remaining” label with a running countdown of the remaining day, hour and minute count until the displayed deadline. If no value is present in the field, Capture will display “N/A.”

The goal shows a donut chart with a percentage calculated from the time the first Shot was marked In Progress (in the same manner as the Time goal) to the calculated deadline.

In the event that the Goal (Time) and/or Goal (Deadline) has been exceeded (above 100%), the status symbol will display as red. The time goals will start as long at least one shot has been started (connected to Capture One).
