Granting Access to App Features on iOS:


When using the mobile application on iOS, you may encounter requests for permission to access certain features. Here's what you need to know about each of them:


Camera:


  • The app requires access to your device's camera to scan barcode values.
  • If you have previously denied camera access, the app will prompt you to grant permission.
  • To enable camera access, go to your iOS settings, find the app in the list,and toggle the Camera permission on.


Siri & Search:


  • This feature allows the app to integrate with Siri and appear in search results.
  • You may be asked to grant permission for the app to work with Siri and show up in search results.
  • To enable Siri & Search access for the app, navigate to your iOS settings, locate the app, and enable the Siri & Search option.

Mobile Data:


The app may request access to your mobile data to function correctly and fetch data from the internet.Granting mobile data access ensures that the app can provide real-time information and updates.



 Remember,as a user you have control over granting or revoking access to these features. You can modify app permissions at any time by going to your IOS settings and locating the respective app's settings.By granting the necessary access,you can enjoy the full functionality and benefits of the mobile application.



ShotFlow Settings:

These setting are available through the IOS App settings not on the mobile app itself

Version Information:


The Version Information section provides you with valuable insights into the current production version of the app. Please note that, for the time being, direct interaction with this setting is not available.


Environment:


The Environment setting is a highly useful feature that allows you to effortlessly switch between various available environments. While some clients may not require this functionality as they have limited access to a specific platform, it is a powerful tool for those who need to work across different environments.


Vibrate on Successful Scan:


Experience the convenience of tactile feedback with the new Vibrate on Successful Scan feature. Now, users will receive a subtle vibration as a confirmation when the app successfully scans a barcode.



Scan Tone:


Users can customize the audio feedback in the Scan Tone settings while scanning barcodes with the app's scanner. Several distinct sound options are available for selection:


  1. First
  2. Second
  3. Third
  4. Fourth
  5. None (No sound)


Choose the preferred sound to accompany your scanning experience and personalize it to your liking. Enjoy the flexibility of selecting the most suitable audio cue for successful barcode scans.
