Updating One More Locations to a Different Area

ShotFlow's Samples and Styling Mobile iOS application enables you to quickly move one or more Studio Locations to a Studio Area just by scanning the barcode(s) for the Location and then selecting the new Area.

There are some requirements that must be met in order to utilize this functionality: 

1. Studio application must have Areas/Locations active and configured. 

2. Mobile application is at least version 1.3 or higher.

Let's look at an example of moving a Location to an Area. For this example, we want to move Rack A (a location) into Set 01 (an Area). 

1. After logging into Samples and Styling, we choose our desired Studio. 

2. Then, we are presented with the Home Screen.

3. Next, we will choose the "Rack" icon, which enables us to scan a Rack Barcode Label that was previously printed and affixed to the rack. We should see the Scan Screen (or if this is your first time using the mobile application, you may need to enable camera usage).

4. After scanning our Rack's Barcode label, we choose Done in the upper right corner of the screen. We are presented with a confirmation screen that shows Rack A was found in the Studio Application. 

5. Choose Done in the upper right hand corner and the next screen provides us with the option to choose which Area we would like to move the Rack (Location) to. 

6. After selecting the Area, we are asked to confirm the choice. 

7. Upon choosing to "Confirm", we receive confirmation that the Location has been assigned to the Area.
