Product-Centric User Interface

Modified on Tue, 14 Sep, 2021 at 1:39 PM

The Product-Centric view contains three view panels (shown in red) and 4 sections within 2 of the panels (shown in yellow):

1 List - Includes Shot Lists and Products, Samples and/or Groupings (1a Shot List section); Details about Product Children and Product Parent, if applicable (1b Product Details section).

2 Shots for Product - Includes all of the possible shots for the product

3 Detail - Provides more details about the shots for a product (3a Shot Detail section); allows interaction with Related Products panel and Accessories (3b Products Interaction section).

Each of the panels can be resized within the main window to ensure all data is visible by dragging the panel dividers left/right. The ratio of the panel width is retained when switching from Product-Centric to Shot-Centric and back to Product-Centric. For example, if List is set at 25% of the main window size, Shots is set for 50%, and Detail is set for 25%, then those ratios will be restored if the user were to click over to Shot-Centric view and back to Product-Centric view. Note that Shot-Centric view has a different number of panels, so the sizing between those panels will not be impacted by sizing in Product-Centric view.

When the Shots for Products panel is resized, the icons representing the shots will increase/decrease in visible size until they reach maximum/minimum size.

From within the List panel, the Product Details and Shot List sections can also be resized by dragging the panel divider up and down until the desired size is realized. The same section resizing is available in the Detail panel, enabling Shot Detail and Product Interaction sections to be adjusted via dragging the divider up or down until the sections are sized as desired.
