Product Detail Section in Product Centric View

Modified on Tue, 14 Sep, 2021 at 1:43 PM

A Shot List can be expanded/collapsed using the <caret> icon to the left of the Shot List Name.

When a Shot List is expanded, it displays the unique identifier of each Product Child, Grouping or Sample that has Shots assigned to this Shot List in the Product Detail Section.

Once a Product, Grouping or Sample is selected from the Shot List section, the lower portion of the List panel becomes a resizable section with information about the selected product. The fields displayed in this section are configured by an Admin user to give the capture team visibility to relevant product information. If Product Children inherit Product Parent information, fields from the Product Parent are also able to be included in this section.

Note that Sample unique identifiers (barcodes) are only shown in the Product Detail section if a Shot is related to a Sample, but not to a Product Child. This is typically a scenario where a Sample exists that must be shot, but the corresponding Product Child record hasn’t been created (e.g. the official Product is not fully defined).

Editing Product or Sample Details

Some Product and/or Sample Information is able to be edited directly within ShotFlow capture via the Edit button. The editable fields displayed in this form are configured by an Admin user to give the capture team the ability to edit product or sample information.

To Edit Product (or Sample Information), click on the Edit button in the Product Details section.

The view is refreshed, and any editable fields are opened for edits. When all edits are completed, click Done to save the changes. The edited values are then updated in the web interface.
