ShotFlow will no longer support connections utilizing TLS 1.0 or 1.1 effective March 1, 2021.
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a cryptographic protocol designed to provide communications security over a computer network. TLS is the security layer in HTTPS to enable secure connections via web browsers.
This change should have no impact on any user or organization accessing ShotFlow via a recent web browser release (roughly, any release in the last five years). This change could impact you or your organization if you utilize very old web browser releases that do not support the newer TLS 1.2 standard.
The following web browser releases DO NOT support TLS 1.2 (the only TLS release ShotFlow will support effective 3/1/2021):
- Chrome release 28 and earlier
- Firefox release 26 and earlier
- Safari release 6.1 and earlier
The following web browser releases support TLS 1.2 and therefore this change should have no impact on users accessing via:
- Chrome release 29 and later
- Firefox release 27 and later
- Safari release 7 and later
- Edge (all releases)
To determine your current web browser release, utilize the "About {browser name}" menu option, which will display release information (Google Chrome example displayed below)
