Search and Employ (deployed 4/10/2026)

This release is all about moving faster and staying in control — with smarter search, more flexible filtering, and new tools to keep your data in check.

What's New?

• Dynamic View Filtering - views now support predefined searches that prompt users for custom values before the view opens. Three search types are available:
  
  

  • Basic Search -  Similar to the existing basic view search, but with control over which fields are visible to the user.
    

  • List Search - Predefine target fields, delimiters, and settings so users only need to input values. Great for barcode scanning - scan multiple barcodes without any extra setup.

  • Advanced Search - Same behavior as the current advanced view search.
    
    

A few important things to know: Dynamic search is only triggered via the new Universal Search Bar. It does not interfere with existing workflows or saved filters. If not configured for a view, it is completely hidden.

• Universal Search Bar: A new search bar now appears at the top of the page when you're inside an application. This empowers users to:

  • Search for Views, Charts, Reports, and Calendars from a single input.
  • Jump between components quickly - for example, go from View A to Chart B in one click.

For each dynamic search configured on a View, a corresponding icon appears next to the View Name in the search bar. Selecting an icon opens a modal to enter search values for that View. After submitting the search, the View opens and displays the search results.

• Export View Limit: We've added a new per-application setting that allows admins to configure how many records can be exported from a view at once. The default limit is 50,000 records, which should cover the vast majority of use cases.
