Routing Release (deployed 7/2/2021)

Modified on Wed, 13 Jul, 2022 at 9:17 AM

What’s New?

  • All new routing/navigation by URL. Every “page” of the web navigation is now a unique URL, including every view, chart, report, etc. This enables the web browser [back] and [forward] buttons to work as intended, so they can be utilized to move back and forth through the user navigation thread. URLs can also be shared to other ShotFlow users, and the user who opens the link will see the exact same page (assuming both users have permission to the page). View URLs will include simple and/or Advanced search results (List Search results are not supported in the shared URL). Note that sidebars and modals are not considered “pages,” and do not have a corresponding URL. This change does not impact how users interact within the ShotFlow user interface, so no re-training or process changes should be required, except to communicate the additional benefits noted above.
