What Did We Change?
YOU'RE GONNA GO FAST:
- Slow-loading data views within an application now load exponentially faster. Views that were slow to load due to app record counts, complex dynamic filtering, etc. should load at least 80% faster on average. Note there will be further "tweaks" to views that include image previews and other special cases in future releases.
- ShotFlow Capture syncing and shot retrieval operations now perform significantly faster. Syncing and shot retrieval processes should complete approximately 50% faster on average. This varies based on total shots assigned to the set, app size and configuration, nested view settings, as well as other factors.
- Cross-app data views (e.g. between brand and studio) now load faster. These views are quicker but do not gain as much performance boost as views in a single application.
CHANGE TO BEHAVIOR OF BLANK FIELDS WITH DEFAULT VALUES WHEN EDITING RECORDS:
- Fields that are configured to have a default value but are currently blank no longer auto-populate the default value when editing the record. In prior releases, editing any record would auto-populate the default value for all fields that are currently blank. A decision was made that this behavior should not occur when editing a record, only when the record is created.
- Insufficient contrast of some View Filter text in dark mode. This issue was introduced in the SuperViews release, and has been corrected to make the text more readable.
- Summary values in report preview panels were displaying in the wrong column. Fixed!
- For users with both Views and Tables in the left nav, editing a record switched the navigation highlight to Tables instead of Views. This issue was introduced in the SuperViews release, and has been corrected.
