Navigating Nested Views

Modified on Tue, 10 May, 2022 at 11:11 AM

A view can include a "nested" view, or a view that resides on another table. To access the nested view, choose the eyeball icon in the Related Records column.

The nested view is displayed, and the "parent" record is displayed at the top level for reference.

In many cases, the nested view will also contain nested views. As you continue to navigate down into other nested views, the breadcrumb path begins to build showing you the name of the table view you started on and adding each table name for each nested view you have opened. To choose which record should be displayed at the top level, choose the information (i) icon next to the table name.

Choosing the information icon will then display the record from that table's view as the top level record.

To jump back to any nested view, click on the table name (not the information icon). This will allow you to move back to that table's nested view.
