Requirements
- A modern web browser updated to a current release. Tested browsers include:
- Google Chrome Version 102.0.5005.115 (Official Build) (x86_64)
- Apple Safari Version 15.1 (17612.2.9.1.20)
- Mozilla Firefox Version 101.0.1 (64-bit)
- ShotFlow user seat with access to at least one app
- For local capture work: ShotFlow Capture Version 2.2.1 and higher (please note older releases of ShotFlow Capture no longer connect and must be upgraded for access to cloud data)
What’s New?
- Views can display as Cards! We are incredibly excited to bring a totally new visual interface to ShotFlow. This is the first completely new way to see data since the launch of our “2.0” platform back in 2019. Data in ShotFlow has always been shown in a “grid style” view (similar to a spreadsheet) or via a chart. This release marks the debut of a third way to view data: card style. Now, see your data in a whole new way, including support for much larger image previews! Note that your current browser session remembers your display preferences, but once cleared, all Views currently default to the traditional "grid style" display mode.
- Now when accessing a View, there is a [Display] toggle button at the top of the View, similar to the existing Charts display functionality. When the [Display] is toggled to card style, the View shows the same data but in a new format:
- Card display shows the same fields (Items) configured for the View, and in the same order, but they are displayed top to bottom on each card instead of left to right on a master grid.
- The enabled record functions (open, edit, clone, delete) are shown on each card instead of on the record row
- When editing a View, there are two new Settings dedicated to Card display:
- “Thumbnail Image” - enables the selection of a File field to be used as an image for the card display
- “Single Record View” - selects a view for the display of a single record (see below)
- Configurable Single Record View. This new functionality enables configuring the displayed fields and image thumbnail source for an individual record view. Previously, this view displayed all the fields for the relevant table, in alphabetical order. Now the single record view can be configured independently of the "parent" view it is accessed from, and can also include a large image thumbnail:
What Did We Change?
- SSO Configuration improvements. We've improved our internal SSO configuration for smoother deployments of SSO for our clients.
What Did We Fix?
- Chart Names were not displaying correctly. The Name would not be present for some Charts and would incorrectly "inherit" to the next Chart displayed. Not anymore!
- Daily view in calendars not always displaying data as expected. This issue was caused by incorrectly parsing time data and has been resolved!
- Advanced Search Drawer Navigation Issue. The Advanced search pop-up window would not allow interaction when filters exceeded the length of the pop-up window.
- Highlighted menu choices in Dark mode were not visible. ShotFlow was not using a proper highlight color in dark mode, but now those menu choices look fantastic!
- Extra fields displaying in the cross-app relationship lookup configuration panel. There were some additional fields that couldn't be utilized in cross-app relationship lookups but were shown in the configuration panel in error. They are now banished to the ether.
