HIGHLIGHTS:

Set Your Favorite Views to Display as Cards by Default!

New App Types to Support the Future of Visual Content Supply Chain!

NEW FUNCTIONALITY DETAILS:

  • Views can be set to default display in Card or Grid. Previously, all Views displayed in Grid and the user could change the [Display] toggle to Card, which would only apply temporarily (reloading the View always returned to Grid). Now there is a new “Default Display” option in View Settings, defining the default display for a View. Note this setting is on the View level, so this Default Display will apply to every user/role that shares this View. This setting will also apply to nested and single record views. The [Display] toggle enables the user to change the View display temporarily for the current session (until the browser tab is closed or the page is refreshed) only for the user that made the change. Initially the Default Display for all existing views is set to “Grid” so no users are impacted by the new feature. System Admins can now begin changing Views to Card Default Display in conjunction with user requests.
  • New app categories - Production, Vendor and Post. These are new app types that will be rolled out over the next 12-24 months to expand the ShotFlow Network from Brand/Studio only, to supporting the entire Visual Content Supply Chain by providing dedicated apps for:
    • Production - studio services organizations that need "production ready" apps that can serve many brand clients and be deployed with zero Professional Services
    • Vendors - dedicated app for each manufacturer/supplier partner to consolidate their work across all their brand and studio partners
    • Post - dedicated app each post production partner to consolidate their work across all their brand and studio partners
  • New API tokens that do not expire. For clients and partners utilizing the ShotFlow Client API that need "lights out" integrations that will run indefinitely without access issues, ShotFlow Super Admins can now issue dedicated API tokens with no expiration date.

CHANGES TO EXISTING BEHAVIOR:

  • Data Ingest "No field mappings" message appears less often and has been rephrased. This message, although informational only, caused concerns for some users and was appearing in cases where it shouldn't. Now it displays in more specific cases and has been changed to read "{Table name} table has no field mappings from source data (informational only)"

FIXES:

  • SF-U1003 error when User roles without "Delete record" permission attempt to utilize Remove Record Relationship action. Now users only need the "Update record" permission to utilize Remove Record Relationships actions.
  • A few bugs here and there. Probably nothing that ever bothered you, so don't worry - be happy!
