Step 1: Navigate to the Shot List
Log in to ShotFlow Platform.
Go to the Shot Lists section.
Open the specific Shot List where you want to set goals.
Step 2: Locate the Goal Fields
Inside the Shot List, look for the following Goal fields (they may be grouped or editable via form or template):
Goal (Deadline) – Date & time field (e.g.,
08/12/2022 10:30
)Goal (Groupings) – Integer (e.g.,
3
)Goal (Products) – Integer (e.g.,
30
)Goal (Samples) – Integer (e.g., 3
0
)Goal (Shots) – Integer (e.g., 4
0
)Goal (Time) – Enter duration in seconds (e.g., 2
hours = 7200 seconds
)
These values define what the team is expected to complete for that Shot List.
Step 3: Set Default Goals via Shot List Template (Optional)
If multiple Shot Lists (e.g., all “On-Model” types) should have the same goal values:
Go to the Shot List Templates section.
Edit the relevant template (e.g., “On-Model Template”).
Populate the Goal fields with your default values.
Save the template.
When a new Shot List is created via cloning from this template, the goals will carry over.
Step 4: Clone & Adjust (if needed)
When creating a new Shot List from a template:
Clone the template.
Adjust the Goal values for that specific set if needed.
Save the new Shot List.
Step 5: Sync with Capture Module
Once the Shot List is ready:
Assign it to a Set.
Make sure the on-set team syncs the device.
If they don't see the goal display, ask them to restart ShotFlow Capture.
How Goals Are Displayed in ShotFlow Capture (Set Statistics Panel)
Goal (Deadline):
If only one Shot List has a deadline, it shows that value.
If multiple Shot Lists have deadlines, it shows the earliest one, along with the Shot List name.
Shows a live countdown under “Remaining.”
If no deadline set: displays “No Goal” or “N/A”.
Other Goals (Groupings, Products, Samples, Shots, Time):
Tracked visually via donut chart.
The percentage is based on the actual progress vs. the goal.
Reviewing Completed Goals (After Shot List Completion)
Once a Shot List is marked Completed, the system will auto-populate the following fields with actuals:
Completed Field | Purpose |
---|---|
Completed (Groupings) | Number of groupings finished |
Completed (Products) | Number of products shot |
Completed (Samples) | Number of samples used |
Completed (Shots) | Number of shots taken |
Completed (Time) | Duration tracked |
Completed (Deadline) | The final deadline timestamp |
Even if goals weren’t set in advance, actuals will still populate, enabling retroactive analysis or goal-setting.
