Step 1: Configure Hardware Acceleration
- Open the Settings Menu in Capture One Pro.
- Navigate to the General Tab.
- Confirm the following under Hardware Acceleration:
- Display: Set to Auto.
- Processing: Set to Auto.
- Refer to the image below to verify your configuration.
Step 2: Adjust Image Settings
- Open the Settings Menu in Capture One Pro.
- Navigate to the Image Tab.
- Under the Metadata section, confirm the following:
- Auto Sync Sidecar XMP: Set to None.
- Prefer Sidecar XMP over Embedded Metadata: Ensure this option is checked.
- For other sections in the Image Tab, you can continue to use them as needed for your workflow. Refer to the image below for guidance.
These settings apply specifically to the Metadata section.
Step 3: Update Export Recipe Metadata
- In Capture One Pro, go to the Export Recipes section.
- Navigate to the Metadata subsection under Process Recipe.
- Ensure your settings align with the screenshot provided below.
These settings are essential for accurate metadata management during export.
Step 4: Set Auto Select New Capture (Camera)
- In the Menu Bar, locate the option for Auto Select New Capture (Camera).
- Set this to either When Ready or Immediately, depending on your preference.
