Capture One Troubleshooting Guide

In the event you are experiencing issues with Capture One, please review the following information to assist in troubleshooting: 



Permissions and Security: ShotFlow Capture cannot connect a shot to Capture One Pro


Preferences in Capture One (including Metadata Settings in the Process Recipes): Recommended Capture One Pro Settings for use with Capture Module


Possible Workflow steps causing issues:

  • Manually renaming files within C1 (or within finder)
  • whether the shot is connected from ShotFlow capture or not
  • Too many external devices connected to the machine
  • NAS storage devices

Capture One issue (identified as far back as C1 Pro 12): When processing images as PNG, external metadata is not embedded as expected.
