How Do I Use Keyboard Shortcuts while in Capture?

Keyboard Functions for navigating Capture in Shot Centric View.



Capture List View Keyboard Shortcuts

  1. Use the arrow keys (Up, Down, Left, Right) to navigate between shots and set lists. 
    • Right arrow - expands the hero shot to show the children nested underneath.
    • Left arrow - collapses the hero shot to hide the children nested underneath. 
    • Up arrow - moves the selection bar up through the List View.
    • Down arrow - moves the selection bar down through the List View.
    • If no action occurs, hit Tab to ensure the list view is properly active.
  2. With a shot or set list selected, press Enter to open the Detail View.


Capture Detail View Keyboard Shortcuts

  1. Ctrl+Tab- navigates to the next editable field.
  2. Enter - will check/uncheck an editable checkbox field
  3. Escape - navigates back to the List View (exiting the Detail View).
  4. If no action occurs, hit Tab to ensure the Detail View is properly active.


Switching between Detail View and List View


To ensure you are focused on the correct window, you may perform one of the following actions to switch between them: 

1. Hold Command + click ~ key

2. Click Tab key


Taking a Capture with C1 Pro while ShotFlow capture is in the foreground

1. Hold Command + click K




*Please note that we are only in the beginning stages of implementing keyboard shortcuts, so some functionality such as selecting values from a multi-select dropdown list will require use of the mouse/touchpad or you may start typing the value in.
