Shots that appear as a gray icon are currently optional (State = Inactive). These Shots cannot be connected to Capture One Pro or fulfilled via Drag and Drop while in the inactive state.

If the Shot has a State value of “Inactive”:

  • Inactive Shot icons are displayed as a gray box (or if present, will show the Style Guide or Angle Abbreviation). The Shot Title appears dimmed in gray text.
  • When selected, the frame will be filled with a gray background.
  • The menu displayed from a contextual menu activation anywhere within the frame will display the following options: Activate, Cancel
  • Selecting “Activate” on the contextual menu of a Shot with a State value of “Inactive” changes the State value to “Active”

If the Shot has a State value of “Active”:

  • The shot icon will be filled with a black background (or if present, Style Guide or Angle Abbreviation). The Shot Title appears in a bolded text.
  • When selected, the frame will be filled with a green background.
  • The menu displayed from a contextual menu activation anywhere within the frame will display the following options: Mark Complete, Mark Cancelled, Clone (which will be inactive if the Shot List does not enable it), Show Details

Activating an Inactive Shot

To activate an optional Shot that you intend to fulfill on-Set, select the inactive Shot, then select the {gear} icon on the control strip, and select “Activate” from the {gear} menu. This shot’s icon will switch to black, the shot title will bold and it will now be active for all ShotFlow capture functionality, including connecting to Capture One Pro and/or fulfilling captures via Drag and Drop. The “Added on Set” flag will also be set to TRUE/YES for this Shot, enabling reporting on which optional Shots were enabled on-Set.
