ShotFlow recognizes that often the visual appearance/condition of a Sample is important for the workflow process. The Samples and Styling Mobile app enables users to add an image or to capture an image to be added to the Sample, or if an image already exists, to view, update or delete the existing image.
- When images are present for a Sample, they are displayed in the Reference Image field on the Samples table in the web interface.
- When an image is added to a Sample from the mobile application, it will update the record(s) in the web interface.
- When an image is added to a Sample from the web interface, it is visible in the Sample record view in the mobile application.
Adding an Image
1. Scan a barcode. (Or you may manually input sample barcodes into the Enter Barcode box. Read more here: Scanning and Inputting Sample Barcodes)
2. Select the barcode by touching the Barcode Value.
3. Select the Add Image button.
4. Add image via Gallery.
5. Select an image in the Gallery.
6. Upon upload of the image, it will appear under "Reference Image" in the Sample view. The image will also be visible in the web interface for the Sample.
Adding a New Image
1. Repeat steps 1-3 above for adding an image.
2. Add image via Camera.
3. Take a photo.
4. Choose "Use Photo" to upload the image, or "Retake" to try capturing another image.
5. Upon upload of the image, it will appear under "Reference Image" in the Sample view. The image will also be visible in the web interface for the Sample.
Updating or Deleting an Image
1. While on the Sample View, click the existing image.
2. To update the image: Choose either Gallery (for existing) or Camera (to take a new image)
To delete the image: Choose Delete
