ShotFlow Capture allows you to display images and PDFs in specified 'File' type fields.
Here is an example image of a Sample and a Product Child:
Follow these steps to utilize this feature effectively:
Supported File Types:
- jpg
- jpeg
- png
- pdf (if the field is configured for PDF files)
Common File Type Fields:
You may encounter the following file type fields in capture:
- Sample Reference Images
- Product Parent/Child Reference Images
- Grouping Reference Images
Displaying Images:
Images can be displayed for Product Parents, Product Children, Samples, and Groupings. These images work similarly to Style Guides, with one key difference: unlike Style Guides, these image fields cannot be used as overlays in Capture One.
The Style Guides module supports using images as overlays in Capture One.
Viewing Images:
To view an image:
- Double-click on the image.
- It will open in a resizable window, allowing you to scale the image for better visibility.
Example of the image in a resize-able window for scaling:
Naming Fields:
File type fields can be named according to your preferences, as long as they adhere to platform standards. For example, you can check what special characters are supported in (What Special Characters are Supported in Barcode Values?) for guidance.
If you need assistance with configuring your fields or setting up the image display, please feel free to reach out to our support team or your technical manager for help.
