Access to a ShotFlow “2.0” platform studio app
Upgrade Procedure from 2.1.8 and higher:
- Users will receive an automated upgrade notice. Please note that prior to upgrading, users should confirm that their ShotFlow Admin has approved this upgrade for the studio. Selecting [Install Update] will download and install the latest ShotFlow capture release on the local machine. Refer to this KB article: Updating ShotFlow capture
- If the notification is not displayed, or a ShotFlow capture user has selected [Skip This Version] at a previous point, navigate to Admin -> Check for Updates
Upgrade Procedure from 2.1.1 - 2.1.7:
- Download the update from Microsoft AppCenter
- Extract the files from the ZIP archive
- Drag any older ShotFlow capture releases to the trash
- Launch ShotFlow capture 2.2 and log in
Upgrade Procedure from 2.0.x:
Your current release is only compatible with ShotFlow “1.0” (QuickBase). ShotFlow capture 2.1 and higher require access to the ShotFlow “2.0” platform. Migration to the "2.0" platform should already be in progress, but DO NOT UPGRADE until the migration is completed.
What’s New?
- New Shot List contextual menus in Product Centric View. A contextual click on the Shot List enables selection of marking the Shot List completed or adding a new Shot (if enabled for this Shot List).
- New Shot contextual menus in Product Centric View. A contextual click on the Shot enables selection of marking the Shot complete, cloning the Shot, cancelling the Shot, or viewing Style Guides (each option is present only if enabled by the Shot List).
- Product Parent Style Guides display in Product Centric View. If a Style Guide is linked to a Product Parent but not a Product Child, the Style Guide will now display in the left pane of Product Centric View.
- Beta support for Orbitvu Station integration. For clients in the Orbitvu beta program, this release supports population of Session and Custom Field data into Orbitvu Station from a properly configured Shot List. To join the Orbitvu beta program, contact support@shotflow.com
What Did We Fix?
- Shared Shot List icon not displaying. For Shot Lists shared across more than one Set, the "shared" icon was no longer displaying in the prior release. It's back!
- Shot List priority ordering is not correct in Product Centric View. Fixed!
- Product Child sort order incorrect in XMP metadata. When tagging multiple Product Children from a Grouping in XMP metadata, the sort order was not correct. It's correct now!
Known Issues
- Style Guide is not showing for path [Shot -> Grouping -> Product Child -> Product Parent -> Style Guide]
Future Enhancements
- Talent upgrades!
- Insanely better Cloning!
- A preferences panel!
- Style Guides upgrades!
- Filtering upgrades!
- Drag and Drop upgrades!
- So. Many. Things.
