What’s New?

Completely revamped cloning functionality, including:

  • Sensing of required field values based on app configuration. The cloning process will show which field(s) are required based on the brand app Shots configuration
  • Cloning does not place "dummy" data in the Title field. Now you don't need to remove unwanted text from the Title field!
  • Clone both a Shot and the related Grouping in PCV. In Product-Centric View, activating the contextual menu on a Shot record in Active State that currently has one Grouping relationship now offers two options: Clone Shot (described above), or Clone Shot and Grouping. This new option clones both the Shot and the related Grouping, so the cloned Shot is related only to the cloned Grouping. This is perfect for scenarios where you want to restyle a group of products for a new shot, but don't want to change an existing grouping that was used for a prior shot.

Updates to XMP and Adobe CEP Panels:

  • Brand ApplicationUUID added to XMP metadata schema.
  • Adobe Bridge and Photoshop panels installer updated to support latest and future CC releases.
  • Product Children List field is displayed in CEP panel even if XMP Aggregation Delimiter not defined. Previously, this aggregated list of Product Children linked to the Shot was not displayed unless an XMP Aggregation Delimited was specified in the brand app's Capture Module Settings.
  • Basic XMP metadata visibility added to Adobe Bridge's File Info panel. For users that prefer to view metadata through Bridge's File Info panel, that is now supported in addition to our custom CEP panels.

What Did We Fix?

  • "Yes/No" & "Multiple Choice" field types are being designated correctly in XMP metadata. Previously these field types were being designated as text type.
  • "Switch Set" function retains Shot Lists for prior Set if there are no Shot Lists assigned to current Set. Now, no Shot Lists will show on the newly selected Set if none are assigned.

Known Issues (Carried over from prior releases)

  • Style Guide is not showing for path [Shot -> Grouping -> Product Child -> Product Parent -> Style Guide]

Future Enhancements

  • Product-Centric UI Upgrades!
  • Style Guides upgrades!
  • Filtering upgrades!
  • Drag and Drop upgrades!
  • A preferences panel!
  • So. Many. Things.
