ShotFlow allows views, charts, reports and calendars (referred to collectively as components) to be shared or hidden from users based on the user role. This ensures that users only see the components that provide them value for their workflow. Only Roles with the permission to "Manage roles" are able to perform this action, and only for roles with fewer permissions.
To share components with a user role, follow the steps outlined below:
1. Click the Users Section on the navigation pane to the left, Roles in the upper right, and then click the edit (pencil) icon under one of the component sections aligning with the row for the user role you wish to give access to.
2. Click on the Table header to expose the Views or if you're updating one of the other components, there is no need to expand the items. Click on the items to be shared from the Available column, and they will move under the Role column. If you wish to remove an item, then click it under the Role column and it will move back to the Available column (thus making it not visible to the role).
