Requirements
  • A device running iOS release: 15.0 or higher

  • Access to at least one ShotFlow Brand or Studio app, including the Access Mobile Application permission in the user's role

Installation Procedure

1. Access the ShotFlow Samples & Styling mobile app on the App Store

2. Download and install to your iOS device, or update your app if already installed.

What’s New?

  • SSO support.
  • Login Support from the Studio AppFor users that have access to a studio and/or brand app(s), the Samples & Styling mobile app now supports login from either or both types of apps. This enables workflows where a user may not have brand app access, but can access one or more studio apps. Note that users still require the Access Mobile Application permission in their role for each app they want to authenticate to on a mobile device.

  • Initial support for role visuals to determine available function buttons. As announced in our Mobile Flow 2022 webinar, Samples & Styling mobile app functionality is now dictated by Mobile Visuals in the user's role. This will enable users to see only the mobile functionality that is relevant to their role, other function buttons that are not available to their role will not be shown in the app.  refer to this article for more information: Mobile Role Visuals

THIS CHANGE COULD RESULT IN USERS LOSING SOME BUTTONS IN THEIR APP UNTIL THEIR ROLE IS ADJUSTED

  • Initial support for Studio Areas and Locations.
As announced in our Mobile Flow 2022 webinar, Areas and Locations are now supported to deliver their associated sample(s) without requiring individual sample scans. This works similarly to Shipments, where the unique identifier can be scanned (in the case of Areas and Locations, this is the ID field) and the Samples & Styling mobile app will pull associated samples as if they were scanned individually. For a Location, scanning or typing the ID will include all Samples currently related to that Location. For Areas, scanning or typing the ID will include all Samples currently related to all Locations in that Area (e.g. a Room ID can bring 14 racks, each providing all samples currently on the rack). This will create huge efficiencies when working with large sample sets.

Existing brand and studio apps must be migrated to the new Areas/Locations structure to take advantage of these enhancements, contact support@shotflow.com to initiate the migration process.

  • Added a vibration feedback setting.
On a successful scan, users who have enabled this option will receive feedback. This will be especially helpful for clients who are working in noisy environments.

What Did We Fix?

  • Barcode and File fields causing Shot List Clone issues. When a File field was included in the Shot List table, the following field types did not clone successfully: Duration, Currency, Date, Date and Time (not system generated), and URL. Barcode fields on the Shot List would generate an error. This has been corrected, and you can clone Shot Lists till the cows come home!
  • Overwrite Relationship' removed from 'Create new Shipment'.

Before when you would create a new Shipment, you would be presented with an option to enable/disable ‘Overwrite Relationship’. This was removed since it was redundant and if not enabled would create empty shipments.

  • Multiple visual and UI elements. A number of small changes to the sizing of icons, error messages, and extraneous buttons after all we are in the business of making you happy.
