Mobile Role Visuals

Beginning in Samples & Styling mobile app Release 1.2, certain mobile functionality is now governed by Role Mobile Visuals. This enables an organization to manage which users see certain buttons on their mobile device by configuring the Mobile Visuals in the user's Role.
For example, an organization may want a Sample Coordinator Role to only see the [Track] button in their mobile app, where the Stylist Role should only see the [Style Out] button, etc.

Users with the Manage Roles permission will have the ability to manage Visuals for each Role in the app:

Selecting the Visuals for an individual Role will show the the current Role Visuals on the right pane, and the Available Visuals in the left pane. The Visuals related to mobile functionality are under the Mobile header:

Dragging a Mobile Visual from the Available Visuals pane to the Role Visuals pane adds it to the current role.

Dragging a Mobile Visual from the Role Visuals pane to the Available Visuals pane removes it from the current role.

Release 1.2 & higher:

Here is how each Mobile Visual impacts the Samples & Styling mobile app experience for release 1.2 or higher:

• Groupings - enables the [Group] button to be visible after scanning at least one Sample and tapping [Done]
• Samples - enables the [Track] button to be visible after scanning at least one Sample and tapping [Done]
• Shipments - enables the [Ship] button to be visible after scanning at least one Sample and tapping [Done]
• Shot Lists - enables the [Assign] button to be visible after scanning at least one Sample and tapping [Done]
• Styling - enables the [Style Out] button to be visible after scanning at least one Sample and tapping [Done]

Release 1.4 & higher:

Some home page buttons are also linked to Mobile Visuals and/or the type of apps the user is accessing, as follows:

• Update Samples [shirt with tag] - displayed if the user's role in the current brand app includes Samples or Shipments
• Move Locations [moving rack] - displayed if the user is logged into a studio app, hidden if user is logged into a brand app only

The following Mobile Visuals are not currently utilized, they are reserved for future state functionality:

• Campaigns
• Products
• Requests
• Shots
• Style Guides
