Reopening a Locked Set After an Unplanned Session Interruption

Modified on Thu, 28 May at 3:16 PM

Overview

If a user's session ends unexpectedly (app crash, power loss, forced quit, etc.), their active set may become locked and unavailable to resume.

Steps to Release the Locked Set

  1. A second user logs into the same machine using their own ShotFlow credentials.
  2. They open ShotFlow Capture and navigate to the Sets screen. This automatically releases any sets locked by the previous user.
  3. The second user closes the app or logs out.
  4. The original user logs back in and resumes their work normally.

Example

Tammy's session crashes, locking her set. Ben logs into Tammy's machine with his credentials, opens Capture, and goes to the Sets screen. The lock is released. Ben logs out, and Tammy picks up where she left off.

Notes

  • No action needs to be taken on the locked set itself. Reaching the Sets screen is sufficient.
  • If the issue recurs, contact ShotFlow Support.
