While appending Metadata in Photoshop and Bridge is technically out of our scope for ShotFlow support, we can offer some best practices and recommendations for updating or editing your metadata.

In Photoshop

1. Open the selected file.

2. If the panel isn't showing, navigate to Windows->Extensions and ensure that "ShotFlow" is checked.

3. Click into each field and make the appropriate changes.

4. Once the changes are completed, click "Save".

5. Save the image before closing or working on another image file.

In Bridge

1. Open the selected file.

2. If prompted by a self-signed extension warning, click "Proceed".

3. If the panel isn't showing, navigate to Windows->Extensions and ensure that "ShotFlow" is checked.

4. Click into each field and make the appropriate changes.

5. Once the changes are completed, click "Save".

NOTE: Please note that changes made to the metadata in the embedded metadata Bridge panel may not save.

NOTE: Changes made to the image's metadata do not sync back to ShotFlow. The changes are only applied to the individual file.

If you encounter any issues, you may submit a support case for further investigation; however, please be aware that XMP is a complicated standard that can be implemented differently in different tools. We are dedicated to delivering a custom schema as your team has specified, and from there you can interact with it using whatever XMP-aware tools are available in your toolbox. We generate certain Adobe File Info Panels as a courtesy to make it easier to visualize the image metadata in Adobe tools, but we cannot be responsible for all the intricacies of metadata interaction within those tools.
