How Do I Create a Shipment? What are Shipments Used For?

Modified on Wed, 4 May, 2022 at 11:36 AM

A shipment is a collection of samples that will travel together from one facility to another. Shipments that originate from a ShotFlow Brand app can be created and tracked to any number of different studio or storage facilities. Shipments can also originate from a ShotFlow Studio app and be sent other studios, a brand, or any destination.

The Studio is given visibility and access to Samples through the Shipment workflow. Without access or visibility to the Samples, the Capture team is unable to take advantage of the Pull Workflow (AKA Shot Retrieval).
