Navigation Changes for Power Users/Admins (effective 1/14/2022)

Accessing Configuration Settings for Views


Users (typically Admins) previously accessed configurations settings for Views via the following process:

  1. User selects Tables in the left nav
  2. User sees a list of tables. Select the relevant table the view to be updated is based on
  3. User sees the default table View for their role
  4. User opens the menu and then selects a the view to be updated
  5. User selects the [...] menu next to the view name, and selects "Manage Items"


With the SuperViews deploy 1/14/2022, users now access configuration settings for Views via the following process:

  1. User selects Views in the left nav.
  2. User sees all the Views available for their role, and can scroll or search/filter to locate the view to be updated
  3. User selects the [pencil] icon on the view 


Accessing Configuration Settings for Tables


Users (typically Admins) previously accessed configurations settings for tables via the following process:

  1. User selects Tables in the left nav
  2. User sees a list of tables. Select the relevant table to be updated
  3. User sees the default table View for their role
  4. User selects the [More] menu, and selects the relevant table attribute to be updated (Actions, Forms, Fields, or Labels)


With the SuperViews deploy 1/14/2022, users now access configuration settings for tables via the following process:

  1. User selects Tables in the left nav (note that visibility to this option requires the "Tables" View to be present for the role, which must be requested to ShotFlow Support).
  2. User sees an alphabetical list of all the tables in the app, and selects the relevant attribute to be updated for a table (Actions, Forms, Fields, or Labels)
